Antibiotic use in the first year of life is associated with a small, but statistically significant, increased risk for asthma in childhood.
The risk for the development of asthma in childhood increases as the number of antibiotic courses in the first year of life increases.

Ahhh, your blogs are always exactly what I need! I'm in the process of researching and deciding what I will be doing on vaccines and need more info. My hubby and I are at odds and have been for years, but it's never been an issue since we didn't have kids. Now that I've got one on the way, I need to figure this out. I'm looking forward to it, thanks Em!
